To wrap up the chaos that was 2020 NCFYRs went out in style by celebrating our amazing clubs and members at the NCFYR Christmas Awards Dinner. With the help of attendees and sponsors, we were able to raise over $14,000. This put us over $40,000 raised this year alone as a state organization. Special guests included: Congressman Mark Walker Rep. Jamie Boles, Dale Folwell and keynote speakers Michael Whatley NCGOP Chair and Congressman Madison Cawthorn for Congress.
What was there to celebrate you may ask?
- 22,000 doors knocked for Congressman Dan Bishop in 2019
- Having 28 chartered chapters across the state (encompassing over 60 of the 100 counties)
- Increasing clubs by 200%
- Increasing membership by over 300%
- Targeting 10 races statewide in 2020 and winning 8 of them (two being pick ups for us in the state house and senate)
- Over 1.1 million voter contacts (door knocking, phone calls and voter registration) this year alone to elect Republicans up and down the ballot.
All of this was possible because of the amazing groups and members we have in NCFYR.
